Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the CellSense mobile application or website. By accessing or using CellSense, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of terms
By downloading, installing, or using CellSense, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. The service
CellSense is a crowd-sourced cellular network intelligence platform that collects signal quality readings from consenting users and aggregates them into coverage maps. The service is provided free of charge for individual use.
3. User contributions
By using CellSense, you agree to contribute anonymised signal readings to the collective dataset. You grant CellSense a perpetual, royalty-free licence to use, store, and display this aggregated data for the purpose of providing and improving the service.
You retain no ownership over contributed readings — they form part of the collective, anonymised dataset once uploaded.
4. Prohibited use
You may not:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application.
- Submit false or fabricated signal readings.
- Use the service to interfere with cellular networks or other users.
- Scrape, harvest, or extract data from CellSense without prior written consent.
- Use the service for any illegal purpose.
5. Accounts
Registration is optional. If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
CellSense is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that signal data is accurate, up-to-date, or complete. Coverage maps are informational and should not be relied upon for safety-critical decisions.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CellSense shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to CellSense at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.
10. Changes to these terms
We may revise these Terms at any time. Continued use of CellSense after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
